Film drought

Honestly. I tried to see a movie with my Dad on Sunday, and let's just say, it was an attempt in vain. It was between Act of Valor (ew) and Hugo (Dad was so not into that) and there was literally nothing else playing. Why is it that after the Oscars we go through a movie drought? I cannot wait for something to come out (I mean, obvi I counting down the days until The Hunger Games, but besides that), just even so I can see some good trailers!!
