Monday happiness: the march was the salve my soul needed

I marched this weekend in Washington DC and it was absolutely amazing and inspiring. Seeing so many people from all walks of life, primarily women but lots of Nasty men out there, too, was just such a bright spot for me in what has been an anxiety ridden time. People were creative, funny, and smart, and seeing so many people come together under values that I believe in profoundly rocked me to my core--it was beautiful.
