Books, movies, Gatsby
One of my all time favorite literary characters is Gatsby. I also just love Nick. One of my top three favorite books of all time.
The Great Gatsby is such a good book, it breaks my heart a little bit that they're making it into a movie. But for all those high school class rooms who watch that old, terrible, Robert Redford version, this is definitely an important remake.
I love the actors, I love the plot, and while the song in the trailer puts me off, I can't wait to see how it's interpreted. Now, that doesn't mean it will come close to the book--what could? Your imagination is so much better than any movie and combined with Fitzgerald? C'mon--But I'm still excited to see what comes.
