Margin Notes: My Berlin Kitchen
My Berlin Kitchen: A Love Story (with Recipes) by Luisa Weiss
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
I really enjoyed this book. At times, I thought the chapters were a little choppy, but I thought the thread of the story was there the whole time. The story went by quickly and I really enjoyed it.
I love books about food and people who cook it and this falls into that category really nicely. I've never really been interested in Berlin, not sure why, but it's not at the top of my list of places to visit. However, I loved hearing about Luisa's journey to find her home. Her descriptions were beautiful and filled with love. I felt like I could see everything she wrote. A fun read!
